Another thing is, I have also completed my BCI classes. Maybe you might be thinking what is BCI. It actually means "Beginners' Course on Islam", and that draws another question, why do I go for that class for?
Reason. I'm dating someone of that religion. And for any future Muslim converts or others who want to learn more on Islam, course is only offered in Darul Arqam located at Onan Road For now I won't go in details what I do in there, but rest assured I'm not being taught how to make a bomb. (I get teased by my friends whenever I mention I'm going for BCI classes ._.)
As time progress maybe I will do a slightly more detailed one on off whenever I'm feeling not so lazy :p
I think it may come as a shock to many others, after all I'm a born Chinese brought up with a strong Taoist background. Thankfully my father has accepted my decisions but my mother is still in a little denial mode. Ultimately in the end whether do I convert or not it's still too early to say. And the culture shock between races and religions is there. I won't sugar coat it and say love conquers all, there are times you can feel the tension and strain in the relationship but communications is very important. Again, I won't in details for now.
