PULAU UBIN

Wendy and I had never been to Pulau Ubin before, super mountain tortoise right!

Since it was also Good Friday and both of us had nothing on so we decided to go visit Pulau Ubin.

We met up at Pasir Ris Station and took bus 89 to Changi Village.

Imagine Sing Post's postman had to take a boat ride over just to collect mails..Hmm..

There's an array of bicycles once you cross the bridge into the island.

We are definitely spoiled for choice, but we are aimming for cheap and good bicycles like a typical Singaporean. 

Really?

Seriously?

Unfortunately the answer is NO!

When we approach the stores asking about the $2 bicycles, the owners will say there aren't any. I guess those signs are just gimmicks to make you come over to their store and from there they will try to rent out their expensive ones. 

The prices ranging from $10 to $18 for whole day.

In the end we rented our bicycles for $8 since we arrive at the island around 3pm+ and the last boat back to mainland is 7pm. 

We had our dinner at Tampiness IKEA.

This pretty much sums up everything for the whole day.
